Re: S1600

Andrew - I dont want to get into an argument but do yourself a favour and pop down to Miltek and compare the so called 'Mountune spec' with Milteks exhaust, there isn't a difference. If you can't visit their factory give them a call and just ask them. Miltek's exhaust are solid, if they weren't they...

Re: S1600

AjayM - why Mountune? You can buy Miltek exhausts (the dual style) from any Miltek supplier, buy a J1 Induction kit, and get a remap at AMD that gives you better results. Any way thats my personal opinion. The induction kits Mountune use dont give better bhp than the J1's, and the mountune exhausts ...

Re: My mk7 - photo shoot with Performance Ford went well

AjayM - thank you for the compliments, I've never been into modifying a car so its loud and lairy, I'm keen on keeping the car as factory look as possible. Its been an expensive and time consuming excercise but thats it! As I'm gonna be a dad in a few months time my priorities have changed and the m...

Re: My mk7 - photo shoot with Performance Ford went well

Jam RS - I fucked up, guess what I did? I used that STP fuel injector cleaner in a full tank of petrol a week ago, my engine malfunction light came on yesterday, it appears the cleaner stuff has ruined my oxygen lambda sensor aaaaaaargh! A new NGK sensor cost £85 plus £15 labour. I have to admit the...

Re: My mk7 - AMD Essex remap 148BHP...not bad hey

Alex - I would like to think 0-60 is about 2 seconds but that would be wishful thinking

On a serious note.......I haven't got a clue, maybe I should have asked AMD when I had the remap done but sadly I never. I might drop them an email today to ask the question, watch this space.

Thank you

Re: My mk7 - rear brake conversion completed.

lufc_lad - I can't comment on how complicated it was as I never done the fitting, Hi-Spec supplied and fitted the kit, all I can tell you is it took 5 hours to do the conversion but that included having to make the adaptors while on site.
