Re: Rear Fog Light Connector - Where to obtain?

Thanks for that, I eventually identified them as SICMA / FCI connectors and found a source at http://www.simtekuk.co.uk/www.simtekuk.co.uk/info.php?p=12&cat=359056. I've now got two fog lights working. I also built a small box with a couple relays in it to apply 12v to the fog light bulbs connected ...

Rear Fog Light Connector - Where to obtain?

Hi, I'm planning to fit a 2nd rear fog light on the nearside to replace the reflector. I have purchased the fog light from my local ford dealer and it came complete with the bulb holder. My problem is that to make a good connection I need the 2-pin waterproof plug that is normally on the end of the ...

Re: A spare tyre question

I purchased a 2012 Econettic two monts ago and it came with the foam kit. I purchased a 14in Alloy to match those on the car and had a 175/65x14 tyre fitted. I purchased the jack off eBay and the foam insert & screw from my local dealer and it goes in the well just fine. Only problem I had was that ...

Re: aux cable loss of volume?

When you say aux cable - are you using a headphone jack output on your external device? If so have you tried turning the volume up to max on your external device?

Re: 1.6 TDCi Oil Pressure Light - How long to extinguish?

Thanks - your thoughts on the oil pressure switch setting would explain why it's the same hot or cold and even if the engine is stopped for only a few seconds when there hasn't been enough time for the oil to drain back to the sump

Re: 1.6 TDCi Oil Pressure Light - How long to extinguish?

Thanks for that - It still seems a long time compared with our Kuga 2.0 TDCI which has 38k miles on it and the oil light is out within about 1 second of pressing the keyless start button

Anyone else have thoughts on how long their oil light stays on?

1.6 TDCi Oil Pressure Light - How long to extinguish?

I have a Fiesta Econetic which was registered on 1/3/12 and has now completed just over 3200 miles, I purchased it at 911 miles and have completed 2300 miles in less than 4-weeks. I'm very happy with it so far, fuel consumption has so far averaged 69.32mpg. I've noticed however that the oil pressure...

Re: Lights

[quote="pattersonWhy is that[/quote] Wiring not likely to like carrying double the current it was designed for (in reality the additional voltage drop in the wiring will also give you slighltly lower voltage at the 100W bulb than the 55W bulb and thus a slightly yellower light), possibility of melti...

Which Jack? & Fiesta 1st Impressions

Hi, Last Thursday I collected a 4 month old Titanium Econetic with 906 miles on the clock and have just joined this forum. I've had numerous Ford's over the years and still have a Kuga. Between yesterday & this morning I have put 515 miles on the clock most of it crusing on the motorway at 60-61mph ...
