Re: Fiesta zetec mk7
Depends what type of engine it is, the 1.6 tdci has a belt driven inlet camshaft but the exhaust cam is driven by chain from the inlet, think the service interval is around 100,000 miles or 10 years

Re: Sump plug
Try a pair of stilsons. I'm not 100% but i think the plug thread is braised onto the sump so heating it could cause a leak

Re: 1.6 TDCI Titanium (11 plate) fuel economy and fan
Yep, thats about right! Got the same model but a 58 plate, do similar journeys and have exactly the same thing with the fuel, think it's something to do with cooling the cat down as it sits right behind the rad, it's a pain in the arse! Servicing makes no difference, mine gets an oil & filter change...

Re: Mountune Short Throw Shifter
That was the fronts! Rears are 25mm so they just bolt on the existing studs then the wheel bolts on the spacer studs, takes about 10 mins a side, fronts are 20mm so you have to knock the old studs out and knock the longer ones in but to do it the disc and caliper have to come off

Re: Mountune Short Throw Shifter
They're fucking awesome mate, got eibach pro kit springs and poly bushes on as well but the spacers really finish her off! http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/01/26/tuna7y7a.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/01/26/urybyjum.jpg , just a couple of comparison shots, different sides of the car but i forgot to t...

Re: Mountune Short Throw Shifter
Shelled out for eibach spacers last month, that was painful enough! Got the rears on, just got to fit the fronts now, got to change the studs though so hoping for decent weather (yeah right!)

Re: Gear Knob thread size?
Think it's a metric thread so i'd guess at m12, just need a hacksaw to shorten it and a tap & die set to put the new thread on (easiest way to find out is measure the diameter with a micrometer)
