Re: How much is my car worth?

Try 'We buy any car' - I recently sold a 3 year old Kuga to them and got ~£1200 more than I was being offered by my Ford dealer in Part-X against a new Kuga. It will at least give you a starting point

Re: Front tyre wear BAD!

Cant comment on the Hankooks but I've a 2012 econetic on 165/65 14 Michelin EnergySaver tyres and to date they've done 33500 miles and still have a fair bit of tread left. I swapped them diagonally at around 17500 miles. I'm expecting to get over 40k from them. My understanding is that 175/70's are ...

Re: Rear Lights Keep Blowing. :(

Do you mean when you unlock you get left hand brake light on? Is it the same when you put the side lights on? If so the bulb is probably in wrong way round. Take it out and turn it 180 degrees and put it back in. Your brake light is probably working but lighting what should be the side light filamen...

Re: Headlamp Bulbs Blowing Mk7

I'd see how you get on with standard bulbs first. My guess is that to get more light from the performance bulbs they are designed to run the filament slightly hotter with the result that they are more fragile and don't last as long if a resister is fitted in series with the supply to the bulbs it wi...

Re: 1st Service on MK7 Fiesta 1.25 2012

Mine is a 1.6 diesel. 1st service back in Feb by local Ford dealer was £143, due next service very soon but no price yet. Also had 4th service on my diesel Kuga for £175 about3 weeks ago. So £185 seems a bit steep to me!

Re: Door mirror replacement

Are you sure it's not heated? Herating is usually provided before the power fold function (in the UK anyway). There is no seperate switch for the mirror heating, it comes on with the heated rear screen

Re: Changing Rear Fog lamp bulb.

Just reach under the rear bumper and twist the bulb holder about 1/4 turn anti-clockwise and it will come out with the bulb. It's a 21w standard single bulb - less than a minute to change
