Re: Replacement door mirror?

Powerfold mirrors have 8 wires going to the plug, a standard heated & electrically adjustable one only has 6.

Re: Replacement door mirror?

You'll need to take the door card off to unplug the old one, then it's just a single nut holding it on.

Re: Potential zetec s tdci owner

By 2011 most of the common faults should be sorted (since it was released in 2008) such as leaks & rattles.
Only minor thing is door seals peeling.
You'll still have a year of warranty left to sort out anything major, not that there should be on a 2 year old car.

Re: Rear Fog Light

Speaking from experience =- there's no easy way! I think removing the bumper would be easier than the way I did it (crawling underneath and struggling for 2 hours)

Doesn't exist for your engine at the moment I'm afraid! Mountune have also said they've stopped work on diesels whilst they work on the 1.0 & 1.6 Ecoboosts + Focus ST.

Re: Battery flat

Had same problem with 2009 Fiesta and today agent found problem with bluetooth module. Will cost £261 for new module fitted! Car has done 15k miles. Would not have thought a module that is very rarely used would do this Get a 2nd hand one from eBay for £50 and replace it yourself in 5mins :) http:/...

Re: 4 Year Service Due

It should go:
1 year / 12.500 = interim
2 year / 25,000 = interim
3 year / 37,500 = major
4 year / 50,000 = interim
5 year / 62,500 = interim
6 year / 75,000 = major

and so on - but as your car has never had a major service get it done asap. Brake fluid should be done every 2 years so also overdue.
