HID & MOT

hello guys i have a 6000k HID fitted to my fiesta which does have projectors headlights but on monday i have the MOT, Service and a recall


Will the Hid's fail the MOT

Yes if your test cares, fiestas have no self levelling or headlight washer which is required when hid are fitted.

No problem. As long as they are set up right.

Original fitment cars need washers and some form of self levelling. Aftermarket don't. They don't check the light output as much as the beam pattern. It's not a test fail, and thousands of Jaguar Xtype owners will tell you.

As far as I am aware too this is the case. As far as my MOT guy is concerned beam image is the main thing.
