Ford stereo compatility

Post by robslasor »

Hi, I have a fiesta style 1.25 82, it has the most basic stereo with no Bluetooth and the smallest screen. If I bought a higher spec ford stereo with Bluetooth and the larger screen, would the Bluetooth just be within the stereo or would I need something else to make it work or would I just be a case of plugging it in?

Thanks

Bluetooth is a separate unit to the stereo and you'll need to programmed to the car for it to work.

And the BT module has its own loom too, which connects to the main dash loom, so I don't think it would be as simple as getting it programmed unless the wiring is there already.
