FoCCCus - Free Central Configuration Modification Tool

Post by Steve65 »

Hello All,

Just joined this site so throwing myself in at the deep end by starting a brand new topic :)

Has anyone investigated using the FoCCCus tool for making changes to the central configuration in their MK7 Fiesta ?

There's a good explanation of FoCCCus here on James Simpson's excellent site :-

Clearly the tool was mainly developed for the Focus MK3 but there is a reference to the Fiesta MK7 on the developers site:-
(This site is in Russian but if you use the Chrome browser with Google translate it does a pretty good job of translating to English)

My main interest is I'm planning to upgrade the "Bluetooth Voice Connectivity" module in a 2009 Fiesta 1.6TDCI Titanium to
a "Bluetooth Voice Connectivity with USB" Module. I know I will need the cars Central Configuration changed so that the Radio/CD unit shows
the additional USB menus and allows A2DP audio streaming over Bluetooth.

I've done similar upgrades before on other Fords. Back in 2007 I added Bluetooth and Voice Control to an SMax Titanium and took
it into my local Ford dealer to have them plug the IDS system in and make the necessary changes to the cars central configuration
so the phone menus etc would appear on the dash display.
