I did the gauge test and i have it but it never comes on so do you reckon i could go to ford and they could turn it on for me?

I have deactivated mine fine.
However I have tried to activate it on a model that didn't have it and it did not work (1.6 petrol - '58' plate)

It's a very peculiar thing. Seems to be hard written into the coding. There's no specific menu when in the vehicle options code network on ETIS IDS. Unless they've patched it by now but last time I plugged my s1600 in there was no line. Annoyingly couldn't change the fuel rating either...
