Couple of questions ZS Fiesta

Hi, new here. I drive a 2016 Fiesta ZS Ecoboost.
I've got a couple questions. Hopefully they can all be answered honestly without childish behaviour.


1. USB port; Starts and stops charging when phone is in. I've tried two different cables and two different phones it does it no matter what. What could be the issue?

2. Gearbox; If I change from 1>2 + 2>3 I have no issues. But when I change from 3>2 it won't go in. The only way I've managed to get it to go into second is by attempting to go into first gear first but then go to second. So essentially a fake shift into first but I then to go second. I am aware this probably isn't helping issue. I have also tried double clutching but I am not used to this and when I did try it, it did not work.

3. Windows; Sometimes when putting up both windows at the same time one window will go up ¾ of the way then start coming down as the other window will then stop. So I put the second window up and the first window goes down or via versa.

4. Has anyone tried the ripspeed competition pack pedals from Halfords? What are people's thoughts on them if they have used them or any other pedals that people could recommend.https://www.halfords.com/motoring/car-a ... 79776.html

Il try and answer a couple for you:

1.0 Fairly certain the USB port is made for connection to the car as opposed to charging.

2.0 How many miles has the car done? Possibly worn clutch, possible wear in the gearbox. Could try a gearbox oil change, may help.

3.0 Anti trap feature working, however sounds like its just getting stuck in the runners. Try getting some silicone spray, spray it in the runners / guides. Worth window up / down. Then put the window down and hold the button at the bottom for ten seconds, then do the same on the way up. See how you get on.

4.0 Not used them my self. They are universal so may or may not fit. Used a similar set on a Mk3 Fiesta back in the day and was a ok after a bit of adjusting. Many sets out there just need to have a search. Try having a look here - http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53481 ... osacat%3D0
