steering wheel resets to left

Post by mk7andy »

Hi just a quickie,
Recently hit a pothole and the steering wheel now resets itself to the left when I let go of the wheel on a flat road. I have had the tracking and balancing done so it isnt them, tyre pressures are all same and two front tyres are the same so thats out. Any suggestions as its really bugging me now .
Thanks in advance.

Sounds it to me, what speed did you hit the pothole?
Just out of interest where did you get your tracking done? As ive had mine done at Kwik Fit before and they set it up worse than it was in the first place!

When you say it resets to the left, do you mean it pulls to the kerb when you let go of the steering wheel or when you're driving straight ahead the steering wheel is set to the left? Either way if its not straight i'd say you probably have a wheel alignment issue still.
