I had to cut a hole in the back of the light. That's about it but there's a grommet that is attached to the cable to make it watertight
Dont cut a hole in them man!! the will fit inside the fiesta mk7 headlight housing!
slip the ballast in the bottom light cover and feed the cables from that through the headlight housing and to the back of the low beam :)

The ballast don't fit inside on mine to be honest I did not try but defiantly not enough room inside the light to fit

Hmm thought the replacement projector looked complicated!!

I have seen some bits on t'interweb about mounting the ballast pack inside the headlight housing. If I understand rightly, you need slim ballast packs, but apparently it's possible!!

Might be being a bit dense, but surely you still need a hole to feed the wire from ballast pack to the original loom??. Not looked at it in much detail, so prob a stoopid question!!

No every thing runs from the ballast to everything inside the housing

Hi Pal,

I have a mate who runs a car lighting business, I got all my LED's from him, they are a bit more expensive than Ebay, but good quality and he gives a 2 year guarantee I think.

I did a retrofit like this in my old Hyundai i20 and it was the best mod I had ever done to a car! It took me 2 days though...(not 48 hours but you know what I mean). The light output (I bought mine from TRS) was spectacular. It will put any PnP to shame + they do not glare on oncoming traffic so you will not be flashed :D
